Essential Characteristics of a Faithful and Effective Visions Ministry

A Faithful and Effective Visions Ministry articulates a discerned will of God in a clear, concise, collaborative, consultative, and memorable way. It invites participation while remaining grounded in prayer and reflecting the community's faith. The vision statement should answer the question of what God is calling us to do or be, ensuring consensus, incorporating diverse viewpoints, and encouraging involvement from all groups in its development. An effective vision is one that everyone can remember and share without reference, fostering unity and shared purpose among stakeholders.
