Earth worm project

In our experiment, we explored the behavior of earthworms using simple materials like a plastic cup, potting soil, and vanilla. We observed that earthworms were attracted to the scent of vanilla but preferred to avoid wet soil. This hands-on project was exciting as it was our first time working with a living organism, and we enjoyed designing our own tests to examine the earthworm's senses. Through this experiment, we gained valuable insights into the preferences of earthworms and the importance of their environment. Thank you for watching!

  2. MATERIALS • Earth Worm • Plastic Cup • Potting soil • Vanilla • Pie Plate

  3. What we learned • We learned that earth worms liked to go towards the vanilla but they stayed out of the wet soil.

  4. What We Thought About The Experiment • We thought it was exciting because it was the first time we got to use a living organism. We also liked the fact that we got to choose what we did to examine the earthworm senses.
