What is Austin Free-Net? • Austin Free-Net (AFN) is a non-profit corporation established in 1995. • Funded by foundation and corporate grants, City of Austin contracts and community support. • AFN Mission: Ensure that underserved communities can access and effectively use the Internet and computer technologies in public spaces throughout Greater Austin. www.austinfree.net

  9. Computer Training Classes & Public Access Sites • Public access sites: In partnership with the City of Austin, AFN also provides public access to the Internet at various City locations, including every public library. www.austinfree.net

Fix-Neta project of Austin Free-Net Fix-Net offers: • Affordable, dependable technical support, training, and technology planning for nonprofits, community-based organizations and public agencies • Education to help staff and volunteers use and plan for technology more efficiently • Network installation, database support, regularly scheduled maintenance, virus protection and troubleshooting expertise • Gift Certificatesavailable now! www.austinfree.net

Fix-Net Prices • Free 1-hour assessment • $55/hour - Database design and management • $50/hour - On-site tech support • $40/hour - Annual "Scheduled Support Contract” for regular repair/maintenance visits • $30/hour - Repairs on equipment brought to our lab (an appointment must be scheduled for both the drop off and pick up of your equipment) • $30/hour - Phone support (in 20-minute increments) www.austinfree.net
