<How to say things with a counting unit> 사과 다섯 개 개:a unit for general stuff The thing you count + number + a counting unit [sa-gwa da-seot gae] 개 다섯 마리 마리:a unit for animals [gae da-seot ma-ri] 책 다섯 권권:a unit for printed materials [chaek da-seot gw∂n] 다섯 명(분)명(분):a unit for people [da-seot myong/bun] *When it is clear what you are counting for the speaker and listeners, you do not need to mention it. 사과: apple / 개:dog (*개 is also a unit for general stuff) / 책:book /
