  1. 2013 Lexus LX570Armoring process. ETA: 2 weeks • This presentation will probably involve audience discussion, which will create action items. Use PowerPoint to keep track of these action items during your presentation • In Slide Show, click on the right mouse button • Select “Meeting Minder” • Select the “Action Items” tab • Type in action items as they come up • Click OK to dismiss this box • This will automatically create an Action Item slide at the end of your presentation with your points entered.

  2. Chassis delivery & inspection • Day 1: Chassis delivery • Vehicle is inspected and road tested. • Vehicle is assigned a production number • Each vehicle is visually inspected daily by qualified quality control inspector.

  3. Week #1 • Vehicle is stripped of all original parts • All original parts are documented, numbered and stored.

Armoring process • Minimal use of welding seams not to compromise the integrity of the ballistic steel • Armoring the vehicle firewall • Armored overlaps and splash returns to prevent projectiles from penetrating through gaps. • Rear bulkhead with complete ballistic armored overlap. • Custom heavy duty hinges to support the added weight of the armored doors and rear bulkhead

  7. Week# 2 reassembling the vehicle • The exterior of the vehicle remains unchanged and is indistinguishable from the original manufacturers’ • All original parts are reinstalled when permitted.

  8. Upgrade made to suspension & brake system • Replace OEM brakes with HD Brake system to safely provide stopping power to the vehicle. • Fully upgraded suspension to support the added weight of the armoring.

Quality control • Once the armoring process complete, our quality inspection department will subject the vehicle to a rigorous post production inspection. • Complete interior inspection to insure correct fit and finish. • Exterior inspection to insure no flaws or damage • Road test to ensure vehicle is operating at optimal performance. • BEFORE VEHICLE IS READY TO SHIP IT IS THOROUGHLY INSPECTED ONE LAST TIME IN ORDER TO CONFIRM THE ACCURACY OF THE PREVIOUS INSPECTION
