  2. Look at the word below and read it to yourself. Read it out loud when I point to it incomplete Turn and tell your partner how many syllables this word has and where it should be divided. Now, turn and tell your partner the prefix and the root word. Did you notice that the prefix is in- and the root word is complete? The prefix in- forms the 1st syllable and the root word complete forms the next 2 syllables.
