  5. Class B Fires • Fires with flammable liquids • Example: gas, lighter fluids, solvents • Use a carbon dioxide or dry chemical extinguisher

  6. Class C Fires • Fires involving electricity or electrical devices • Example: computers, photocopiers, toasters • Use a carbon dioxide or dry chemical extinguisher

  7. Class D Fires • Fires with burning metals • Example: sodium, potassium, aluminum • Use sand or salt to extinguish
