  2. Most soccer tryouts contain a Cooper Test= In 12 minutes run 6 laps. The Catholic Church Field is 110 yards by 60 yards. If we round the ends of the field to make the run like a track, how many laps will make a mile? Should be reduce the length to account for grass being more difficult to run on? Remember that circumference of a circle is pi (3.14) times diameter. Using the end of the field as diameter, calculate the length of one lap then compare to 5,280 feet or one mile and advise the soccer coach (me) about how to approximate 6 laps of a regular.
