Tracer study 3 - objectives To split the data collection into 2 parts: Exit survey – students (future graduates) fill a questionnaire at the end of their studies Tracer study – same students are contacted at least 9 months after graduation Same methodology wil be used, but with an extended questionnaire

Tracer study 3 - timing Preparation: April Fieldwork: May – June Collection of data on teaching and learning Preparation of contact database for the next phase Data analysis June – September Second phase (collection of information on employment situation of graduates) will také place in May or September 2015

  7. Tasks • Who will be in the team? • Pre-conditions: Internet and Excel • Finalisation of a questionnaire • Preparation of contact database • Training on the data collection

  8. Who will be in the team? • At least two people who are ready to: • Dedicate time to the further and more hands-on training • Dedicate time to data collection • Want to have practical skills in the analysis of data and their usage

  9. Finalisation of the questionnaire • Finalisation of the questionnaire: February • Feedback from the pilot exercise 2013 • Meeting on 05/03 in Bishkek March → final circulation and feedback → finalisation by ETF For Phase 3 – the work on questionnaire will take place in April.

  10. Preparation of contact database • You need to know how to connect with the graduates • Name and Surname • Course of studies/degree • Contact address/Address of parents • E-mail address • Telephone number (mobile/fixed line)

  11. Training on the data collection Face to face meeting on practical steps in data collection at the end of March: • What is Survey Monkey (SM) • How to send online questionnaires • What to do if you use telephone/post survey • How to monitor the progress in SM
