How Many D 0  K s  +  - Analyses ?. We know that Belle is working on a mixing analysis using D 0  K s  +  - decays. We might hope they will not have any better Dalitz plot fit than the excellent one in BAD 1237 One imagines they will report ~ 500 fb -1 ??

  1. How Many D0Ks+- Analyses ? • We know that Belle is working on a mixing analysis using D0Ks+- decays. • We might hope they will not have any better Dalitz plot fit than the excellent one in BAD 1237 • One imagines they will report ~ 500 fb-1 ?? • We need a result soon if we are to be relevant OR • Do something significantly different  BAIS 06/13 – runs 1-4 • Some of us think we can try for an even better model – at least we intend to try. • Longer term – Runs 1-5 as follow up to hot item above. • Modify CLEO (Phys.Rev.D72:012001,2005)to use waves rather than resonances. • Attempt to build on excellent work by Antimo (BAD 1293) • Explore ways to reduce WS backgrounds and improve time resolution.  BAIS ??/?? – runs 1-5 • Another analysis should follow – possibly at the “discovery level” (if not already reached!) • Yet longer term – Runs 1-6.  BAIS ??/?? – runs 1-6 Brian Meadows, U. Manpower for #2 • Stage one (some of us think we can try for an even better Dalitz plot model – at least we intend to try). • So far – (EB) JC, WMD, DL, DA, (Cin) RA, GM, BM. • BAD 1626 in preparation • Mixing • Most (or all) above • Others welcome! • Time scale • Stage one or BUST – winter 2007 • Summer 2007 is goal.
