  2. Vertebrate • Jawless fish are vertebrate. Vertebrate means it has a back bone.

  3. Habitat • They live deep in the water. Maybe the bottom of a river or in a cave at the bottom of the ocean.

  4. Cold Blooded • Jawless fish cold blooded. Cold blooded means it can not control its body temperature.

  5. Life Cycle • A Jawless fish lays up to 60-70 thousand eggs • And in about 5 weeks the eggs will hatch

  6. How they breathe • Jawless fish us gills to breathe. • The gills take the oxygen out of the water.

  7. Body covering • They are a fish but thy don’t have any scales. They have rough skin. They have glands that give off slime Jawless fish’s long bodies make them look like electric ells

  8. reproduce • Jawless fish lay over 200 eggs it takes 5 weeks later for the eggs to hatch.

  9. Special body parts • Jawless fish have no paired fins there is ventral fins. Ventral fins are close to the pectoral fins going close to the abdomen. • Petracol fins they get before they grow into lungs. • Jawless fish don’t have paired fins but they have something simulercadual fins. • Jawless fish have really sharp teeth.

  10. Other Interesting facts • Jawless fish have very sharp teeth up and down. Hagfish feed by shredding the bodies of dead or injured animals. A hagfish will sometimes enter the body of its prey via the prey’s mouth, from inside. Sometimes ,a hagfish will tie itself into a knot in order to give itself leverage when it is lampery’s are parasites.
