Analyzing School Enrollment and Out-of-School Children in Sindh, Pakistan (2010)
This report presents an analysis of school enrollment and the prevalence of out-of-school children aged 6-16, as well as preschoolers aged 3-5 in Sindh province, Pakistan, based on data collected from six districts. Findings reveal significant challenges in access and quality of education, with alarming dropout rates and low enrollment figures, particularly in Sukkur following recent floods. The report highlights the disparities between government and private school attendance, gender differences, and essential needs for infrastructure and qualified teachers to improve educational outcomes.
