Behavior Factors of Composite and Mixed Structural Systems in NEESR-II CFT Specimens

This report presents the findings from the NEESR-II project, which examined the system behavior factors for composite and mixed structural systems, focusing on concrete-filled tubes (CFTs). Four types of CFT specimens were tested at the Georgia Institute of Technology MAST Laboratory: RCFT20x12x0.3125, CCFT20x0.25, CCFT12.75x0.25, and HSS12.75x0.25. A total of 18 specimens were created, utilizing A-500 Grade B steel, with a combined weight of 20 kips. The results include an analysis of steel details and mill certification, providing insights for future structural innovations.
