Hero Villain • Throughout the play he recognized his wrong doings of murdering but was questioned, by his wife, about his man hood; she controlled him. • He was only a hero in the begin, when he fought for King Duncan; who he later killed, to become king. • Because of his weakness towards his wife, his superstition, and his poor judgment , and long time desire to become king; Macbeth’s tragic flaw ruined him. • The witch’s prophecies made him believe that he was evil, because they told him he was going to kill King Duncan, so he could become king.

  5. Conclusion • Macbeth is a hero no matter what. But because of his tragic flaw, he became evil. • Lady Macbeth brought out Macbeth's weaknesses. • Macbeth’s ambition/desire to become king is part of what drove him the become a villain. • Macbeth is seen in different ways, most people would see him as a villain for killing so many people, and some would say that he was a hero because he was a fight and didn’t really want to kill all of those people but between the witches and Lady Macbeth he thought that it was his fate to become king; they both made Macbeth believe he had to kill to get there. • How do you view Macbeth?
