  2. The Anti-hero A protagonist An untraditional hero. He/she may not look like the traditional hero (physically fit, attractive, strong). They may have a dark side or past, but do not fulfill the role as villain. A rebel with a cause.

  3. Anti-hero

  4. Scapegoat They are sacrificial. They bear the mistakes or burdens of others. Some will give their life for the sake of others. Although faultless, they are be blamed and held accountable for the mistakes of others.

  5. Example of Scapegoat

  6. Side Kick Faithful and supportive. They are attached to either the protagonist or antagonist. They may mirror (show) the feelings or traits of the person they support. The hero may have a side kick that ‘has his back’ and works along side him through his journey.
