Person closet to Mr. N.’s desk read G-32 to table partners. • Copy the vocab: nuclear fusion- A reaction in which the nuclei of two smaller atoms combine to form a larger nucleus. nuclear reaction- A process in which the nuclei of atoms either split or combine, releasing large amounts of energy. • Copy this challenge question: “List three unique features about the sun.” • Brainstorm/write in your journal a list of ideas connected to the following two words: SUN STAR • Share your ideas with your table partners. • Volunteers share ideas out loud. • Follow along as classmates read G-33 to G-35 out loud. • Write down the main idea(s) from the reading when a pencil is displayed in the margin.
