  3. Amber TerraceElementaryStudent Creed As a student of the Amber Terrace Elementary School, I will respect my parents, my teachers, myself and others. I realize today is a bright, new day filled with wonderful possibilities. Yesterday’s mistakes are behind me. New challenges are before me. I will embrace them with my desire to excel in school and to make a new and better world. I am great and my education makes me even greater. I came to school to learn and I will learn.

Our Classroom Pledge • We pledge to RESPECT ourselves, others’ and our school property. • We pledge to be friendly and KIND to everyone: No putdowns, making fun of, or singling out anyone. • We pledge to COOPERATE with each other and with our teachers. • We pledge to be RESPONSIBLE and come to class prepared to learn, take turns and share. • We pledge to have INTEGRITY by being accountable for our self, our decisions & our actions. We pledge to always work to IMPORVE by seizing every opportunity to learn with a positive attitude.

  11. Roland & Forge’s Homework: • Reading Log: Student reads 20 minutes per night and is due every Friday. • Spelling:Monday & Tuesday’s homework on words #1-10; Wednesday & Thursday’s homework on words #11-20; Spelling Test on Friday. • Social Studies: Current Event Project due every Monday.

  12. Riley & Gamble’s Homework: • Math: Daily according to content we are working on. • Science: Rarely will have homework unless it is in preparation for an investigation or test. • Weekly Folders: Please review the students work, sign and return the folder.

  13. Common Assessment Schedule: • First Six Weeks: October 1-5 • Second Six Weeks: November 12-16 • Third Six Weeks: January 14-17 • Fourth Six Weeks: Feb. 25-Mar. 1 • Fifth Six Weeks: April 15-19
