Integrated Catchment Planning Framework …………… Helping UU become World - Class The iCPF describes the continuous, dynamic and collaborative processes by which wastewater asset plans are developed to a 25 year planning horizon to ensure that investment and operational strategies are appropriate over a number of regulatory price control cycles. Long term strategic plans are prepared within sub-Catchment Areas based upon river basin boundaries and the Region has been divided into 63 sub-Catchments.  UUW has organised its Wastewater Planning function around Catchment Planning Areas to align its long term strategic planning with aims and objectives of the Water Framework Directive (WFD). Investment and operational strategies are developed by a multidisciplinary ‘Core Team’ of stakeholders in each sub-Catchment including representatives from the EA.
