We are proud to bring that same expertise to the Russian River Valley to craft this world class California wine. Working with some of the best talent in the region, we’ve made this wine using hand selected grapes from the finest vineyards. The result is a wine of uncompromised quality, a wine worthy of our family’s heritage. After whole-cluster fruit pressing, the juice was immediately transferred to French oak barrels for fermentation for 10 days. After undergoing malolactic fermentation, the wine was left sur lie and stirred weekly. The wine was lightly filtered prior to bottling. Varietal: 100% Chardonnay Appellation: Russian River Valley Age of Vines: approx. 26 Years Cases Produced: 7,100 Alcohol Content: 14.5% alc./vol. Total Acidity: 0.55 g/100ml pH: 3.5 Tasting Note:In the glass, green hues hint at the youthful nature of this complex chardonnay.  Aromas of stonefruit are melded to sur lie barrel qualities of roasted grain and creme brulee.  A deeply textured, mouthfilling wine is evident in the first taste and the persistent finish invites another sip.
