  1. Cinderella Retold by: Beatrice

  2. Once upon a time there was a young girl named Ella,her mother died, and Ella loved her father very much, and one day her father decided to get married. Her father married a widow with 2 daughters. The widow became Ella’s stepmother, Ella’s stepmother had 2 daughters named Anastasia, and Drizella. Ella’s stepmother was very nice to Ella. Anastasia and Drizella had to clean up everything, and they had to do all the hard work.

  3. While Anastasia and Drizella was sweeping the floors. They got an invitation from the king. It said that you have been invited to the ball. Once Anastasia and Drizella was done reading, they went upstairs and told the news. Once her stepmother heard the news, she said that Anastasia and Drizella could go. But they didn’t have a dress to wear, so they told their mother that they are not going. But, when Anastasia and Drizella went upstairs, they found 2 beautiful dresses, made by their friends the mice, and the birds.

  4. Once they got their dresses on, they ran downstairs. And once Anastasia, and Drizella saw Cinderella, They went in front of her and asked if they could go with Cinderella. And Cinderella said no. So Anastasia and Drizella ran outside and cried and cried, suddenly something was bright and sparkly. Then a woman appeared, with a light blue coat. She comforted them, and asked what was wrong. Then they said that “we don’t have a ride to the palace.”

  5. Then fairy godmother asked if they have a small crown, and they found one from their jewelry box, and they gave it to fairy godmother. And made a carriage made out of silver and gold. And fairy godmother looked for 4 animals, and their mice friends were the animals that fairy godmother needed. So fairy godmother used them as horses, and the driver of the carriage.

  6. Then Anastasia and Drizella said “oh thank you very much fairy godmother. Then they headed on to the palace. Once they entered in the palace, they waited for their turn to dance, and the prince chose Anastasia 1st and Drizella 2nd. Then Cinderella called out, “may I please have a turn?” Cinderella asked. Anastasia and Cinderella said no. and Cinderella got very upset. So she ran away, from the palace, but she dropped her glass slipper.

  7. So the prince tried to chase her, but she already got away. So the prince tried looking for Cinderella, so the next day the prince looked for Cinderella. And the prince passed by Cinderella’s house first. And he asked “someone left their shoe in the palace, so can I need to fit this shoe to your foot.” Then Anastasia, Drizella, and Cinderella ran down the stairs. Cinderella was pushing and shoving them.

  8. But, Cinderella felt bad, and told them to go 1st, Anastasia tried It on 1stbut, it didn’t fit. Then Drizella gave it a try, it wouldn’t fit either. Then Cinderella tried it, and fitted perfectly, then the prince asked “ do you have the other shoe?” Cinderella said “yes.” The prince was so happy, and the prince asked Cinderella, if she could go to the palace with him. And Cinderella agreed, and Cinderella asked Anastasia and Drizella

  9. If they could come with her to the palace. And they said yes. And Cinderella and her stepsisters were good friends. The prince and Cinderella got married and everybody lived happily ever after. THE END

  10. The Moral • The lesson to this story is that you should treat others, as you want to be treated.
