The CeQuInt Project aims to foster mutual recognition of accreditation and quality assurance in higher education, focusing on internationalisation. Key activities include developing principles for expert selection, accreditation procedures for joint programs, and a comprehensive quality assessment framework. The project intends to enhance educational quality through international curricula, qualitative evaluations, and the establishment of good practice platforms. Ultimately, it seeks to award a Certificate for Quality in Internationalisation, benefiting higher education institutions across Europe.

Internationalisation in higher education? • Curricula with an international orientation in content, aimed at preparing students for performing (professionally/socially) in an international and multicultural context and designed for domestic students as well as foreign students (Bremer & van der Wende, 1995) • “The process of integrating an international, intercultural, or global dimension into the purpose, functions or delivery of post-secondary education” (Knight, 2004) • “Internationalisation of the curriculum is the incorporation of an international and intercultural dimension into the preparation, delivery and outcomes of a program of study” (Leask, 2009)
