  2. RG Status • Using two meeting slots at this IETF meeting • Several strong presentations, but mailing list traffic is still relatively light • More people are on the mailing list (several hundred) than in meetings (average about 40 pink-sheet signatures) • Feel free to kick-off threads on the mail list! • Plan to meet at next IETF meeting as well

  3. RG Status (cont.) • Documents: • RFC 5783 on “Congestion Control in the RFC Series” was published in February • Draft on Open Issues in CC Research has needed votes from IRSG and is waiting on an update from the editors • Capacity-sharing architecture work could/should be revised and issued as a draft-irtf-iccrg-… ? • Original was draft-mathis-iccrg-unfriendly-00 • Capacity Sharing Architecture • Bob and/or Matt will discuss today • Experimental CC Specifications • MulTFRC – proposed for DCCP, but determined to be more appropriate for ICCRG’s expertise to work on for Experimental RFC • Will present update at next meeting • TCP Proposals: Compound TCP, CUBIC, H-TCP have been reviewed in ICCRG; TCPM in the IETF did not seem to take interest yet

  4. Agenda • “Around the IETF” • Internet Capacity Sharing Architecture • Increasing the Initial Window • Reducing the Initial RTO • Is TCP TCP-Friendly? • Flow Isolation • Congestion Definitions • Study of Proposed Internet Congestion Control Algorithms
