Researching and Requesting Information ACTIVITY 1.4 • To use translation feature to translate script from English to French, select text in Search for text box then type script. • Click down-pointing arrow atright of resources list boxthen click Translation. • Make sure that English (U.S.)displays in From option box. • Click down-pointing arrow toright of To option then click French (France) at drop-down list. • Note translation of script into French.

Researching and Requesting Information ACTIVITY 1.4 • Select script in Search for textbox, type documentary,thenpress Enter. • When the translation ofdocumentary displays in Research pane, note translation. • Click Close at top right ofResearch pane, or click expand button at right end of Internet Explorer toolbar then click Research at drop-down list to close pane. • Close Internet Explorer.

Downloading Images, Text, and Web Pages from the Internet ACTIVITY 1.5 • Connect to Internet then double-click Internet Explorer icon on Windows desktop. • Search for sites on Internet for Banff National Park. • From list of sites that displays, choose a site that contains information about Banff National Park and at least one image of park. • To save Web page as separate file click Pagebutton on Internet Explorertoolbar then click Save Asat drop-down list.

Downloading Images, Text, and Web Pages from the Internet ACTIVITY 1.5 Optional Steps • Open Microsoft Word by clicking Start on Taskbar, pointing to All programs, pointing to Microsoft Office, then clicking Microsoft Office Word 2007. • Click Insert tab in ribbon then click Picture button in Illustrations group. • At Insert Picture dialog box, change Look in option to location where you saved Banff image then double-click BanffImage.jpg.

At message asking to save changes, click No.
