An ongoing risk assessment with BCC, aiming to influence policy and take practical action towards Level 3 progress by March 2011. Detailed understanding of risks to embed adaptation responses into strategies, plans, and operations. Collaboration with climate change management authorities for good practices. By completing the Adaptation Work Plan, projects will assess risks and responses, complementing Birmingham's Climate Change Action Plan. Capitalize on CCAP strength through partner consultation and a communication exhibition in March 2011.

To reach Level 3… • Comprehensive action plan and prioritised action in all priority areas • Detailed understanding of risk and take action to embed relevant adaptation response into council strategies, plans, partnerships and operations • Consulted with authorities responsible for climate change management and others who can provide advice on good practice e.g. Environment Agency, Natural England, Defra • Pooling of skills, knowledge and resource across LSP
