Update Funding Opportunity Number in COEUS If you have already drafted your proposal using a Funding Opportunity Number that utilizes the ADOBE B Forms, you will need to update your Opportunity to one that uses the new C-Forms. For example, Opportunity PA-11-260 uses the B forms and will need to be updated with a new Opportunity:

Delete Old Opportunity In order to make the change to C-Forms, DO NOT clear the Funding Opportunity Number field. That will cause an error when you try to add a new Opportunity. First go to the Action menu and select Grants.Gov:

Delete Old Opportunity (continued) Then use the Delete Opportunity button to clear the old B-Form opportunity from your proposal:

Select new Opportunity Before moving on, remember to SAVE the record. Back on the main proposal screen, enter the new C-Form Opportunity number into the Opportunity field:

Select new Opportunity (continued) Return to menu Action -> Grants.Gov where your new Opportunity should be available to select.

Select new Opportunity (continued) Be sure that your new Opportunity shows FORMS-C and SAVE your record again.

Verify you have included appropriate forms Make sure that you have selected all the forms necessary for your proposal under this new Opportunity. Note that some forms may have different names or version numbers:

Review Questionnaires Changing your opportunity and forms, may have altered your proposal questionnaires. Be sure to review them before proceeding:

Detailed Budget Justification If you are proposing a detailed budget, there is a new form type that must be used when uploading the justification narrative. Instead of Detail_Budget_Justification, select S2S_Budget_Justification toward the bottom of the list.

Sub Awards on Proposal If your proposal includes a sub award, you must use the new sub award budget worksheet, version 1.3. If you have already completed an old sub award budget worksheet, the information will need to be re-entered onto the new worksheet. To obtain the new budget document, go to the COEUS Help menu and select Help Topics. At the bottom of the resulting page, you will be able to download the new budget form (V1.3):

Sub Awards on Proposal (continued) Once the new sub award worksheet has been completed for your sub award(s), be sure to go into your budget and update the sub award portion with your new attachment and Translate the PDF to XML as usual:

Double-check Forms After updating your proposal, make sure to conduct a test print for each of the Grants.Gov forms and look for errors:
