  2. Region V - 2009-2010 • 1. Research Promotion - Society hit $2 M again - Region V within 80% of goal • 2. PAOE – - Dayton- Top Chapter in Regional PAOE Points – Par in all categories - Central Indiana – Par in all categories - 6/13 Chapters reach PAOE minimum - 9 Zero’s - 4 Chapters reporting zero in at least one category • 3. President elec training – 8 Chapters attended in addition to ARC, Region Treasurer and Region Web Master

Region V in 2010 - 2011 • Planning for the Region’s Future: • MEMBERSHIP • Challenge goal of 6% membership increase • Centralized training Sept. 11, Atlanta • Retrieve our “delinquents” • Upgrade our active “associates” • Fill all CIQ positions for all Chapters • Develop a list for future • Generate a progression list for RVC, ARC and DRC positions- • Maintained by Nominating Committee • Develop/Update Region budget • Review/update Region financial polices

  5. 2010 -11 DRC Goals • Communication: • Support Your Membership Drive • “Touch” each Chapter at least once a month – phone, e-mail or visit • Update Website Every Other Month • Region V “newsletter” • Chapter Highlights • RVC Comments • Best Practices

  6. 2010 -11 DRC Goals • PAOE: • Reduce number of zeros • At least 9 Chapters to reach minimum in all categories

  7. 2010 -11 DRC Goals • Chapter Visits • DRC visit to 6 (or more) Chapters • RVC’s (combined) visit to all 13 Chapters

  8. 2010 -11 DRC Goals • YEA – Region to sponsor 2 to YEA weekend • Chapter Sustainability Programs / Projects • Have at least 7 chapters receive sustainability activities award • ASHRAE building energy labeling – have at least two buildings in Region rated
