6 th Grade Multiplication/Division Lab

This lab aims to determine whether 6th-grade students can solve more multiplication or division problems within a minute. Students will complete two worksheets—one with 20 multiplication problems and another with 20 division problems—with a timed duration of 1 minute each. They will tally their correct answers for each section, and the class will combine the totals to analyze overall performance. Students will also identify their independent, dependent, and constant/control variables to complete their lab reports accurately, emphasizing the importance of following the scientific method in their analysis.
