  3. This week, we will learn… multiplication with 2 or more digits. Think back to when we learned how to multiply in the past: • What were some methods that we used? • What was your favorite?

  4. Why is it important to know how to solve problems like 16 x 39? • Example: There are 39 students on the playground. Each student has 16 Pokémon cards. All of a sudden, a big wind blows all of the cards away! How many Pokémon cards are flying through the air? • Example:There are 16 students in Ms. Dacus’ class. Each student earned 39 tickets this week. How many tickets did Ms. Dacus give out? • Can you think of any examples?

  5. This week, we will learn • Wednesday: Lattice Method • Thursday: Review lattice • Friday: Partial Products • Monday: Breaking Apartand Standard Form • Tuesday:Multiplication Review Game • Wednesday: Multiplication Test
