  1. Importance of Moral Education For Students Today’s students are the future of the country and the future of the country would be safe only when the students of the country are provided a proper education and are taught to imbibe moral values. The top schools in Delhi prioritize moral education and impart valuable moral lessons to their students. Students learn some of the most important lessons of their life by observing their parents at home and their teachers at school. Probably this is also the prime reason why people put the blame on teachers and parents when the child misbehaves. Kids tend to copy and repeat what they observe at home and at school and thus parents and teachers should try setting good examples for the children. Simply telling your kids that lying is bad won’t do any good. Whenever kids lie they do it for their personal gains and they can further resort to any possible method to get what they really want. There is also a possibility that they steal and tell they have not. The effective method of teaching them lying and stealing is bad would be to set examples of truthfulness and honesty at home and at school for them. When they will watch their parents and teachers endorsing values of honesty and truthfulness they themselves will copy that behavior. Some of the moral values that every kid should be taught to imbibe at a younger age - •Honesty - students should be told about the importance of honesty for their holistic personality development. They should be taught about the futility of imbibing dishonesty and cheating and how these values land a person nowhere in the future. The only person they can hurt by being dishonest and by cheating are themselves. By being dishonest or by cheating one may gain short term gains but will suffer from negative consequences of such actions for the long term. To consider an example, one may cheat in exams to earn good marks and can gain happiness for the short term but the guilt of the action will trouble their conscience for a whole life. •Respecting Others - With every passing day, this society is turning less compassionate and highly inconsiderate towards others. The competition in every field is on the rise and in their relentless quest to succeed people are forgetting to appreciate each other. In such times, kids should be taught to respect everyone around them. They should be taught to respect all religions, races, ideologies, sexes, and lifestyles. They should be taught that real happiness comes from loving and caring for people around them. They should be told that when they will respect others they will also receive respect in return. They should be taught to be kind to their peers and everyone around them.
