The feedback from new and experienced team members is that they find being involved rewarding in terms of their personal development and that their increased knowledge of the assessment methods helps raise attainment for their candidates. EARs and IARs • EAR External Assessment Report • IARInternal Assessment Report Produced annually by Senior Appointees and contain information that can be used to develop your teaching and enhance the experience of your candidates.   6. ‘Appeals’…→…‘Results Services’ 2012/13 • final year of the existing ‘Appeals’ system 2013/14 • new ‘Results Services’ • Exceptional Circumstances Consideration, which will run prior to results being published • Post Results, which will run after candidates receive their certificates

  8. Quality Meat Scotland • QMS are running their meat voucher scheme in session 2013/14. National Qualification Support Teams (NQST’s) • We are currently recruiting for delivering practitioners to join our National Qualifications Support Teams for Fashion and Textile Technology, Health and Food Technology and Hospitality • NQSTs are consultation groups that will feed back to SQA on the internal and external assessment of National Qualifications • These groups will communicate via secure online discussion forums as well as at an annual meeting • For more information about NQST’s and on how to apply, please visit www.sqa.org.uk/nqst

National 5 Skills for Work in Food and Drink Manufacture • Builds on the good work being carried out/ partnerships created by the Scottish Food and Drink Federation • Raise awareness and develop knowledge of the industry • 4 Units at SCQF level 5 covering; the Industry, Food Science and Technology, Product Concept and Safety Requirements • Available from February 2014

SOLAR - online resources • Online assessments for the Units F792 09, F792 10 and F792 11 are now available via SOLAR • The assessments are automatically marked and results, along with feedback is given to learners immediately • The assessments do not require internal or external verification pre or post delivery
