Using a hand loom to weave a small hand purse. Warp the loom. Set up the vertical base threads . Weave the weft. Use one color thread or two (example below) to weave the weft threads through the warp threads by going over and under them in an alternative pattern. Change basic weaving Pattern.

  1. Using a hand loom to weave a small hand purse

  2. Warp the loom • Set up the vertical base threads

  3. Weave the weft • Use one color thread or two (example below) to weave the weft threads through the warp threads by going over and under them in an alternative pattern

  4. Change basic weaving Pattern • Weave the same color thread twice to switch a weaving pattern for two colors • Make sure to overlap the colors when switching

  5. Complete the weaving process • Toward the end, it is hard for the shuttle to pass through the warp threads, use a needle to finish the job

  6. Wave/sew a label/pattern

  7. Fold and sew the edges
