Robert Chen: Rising Star of Panamanian Football in Belgium

Robert Chen, born on May 24, 1994, in Isla Colón, Bocas del Toro, is a prominent Panamanian footballer known for his role as a central defender. Currently playing for SV Zulte Waregem in the Belgian first division, Chen began his career at FC San Francisco, where he excelled in youth categories. Making his senior debut at just 17 during the 2010 LPF Apertura tournament, he quickly rose through the ranks, representing Panama's national teams at U-17, U-20, and senior levels. He transferred to Málaga CF in summer 2013 for €400,000.
