  1. Cool down Your Summer Workout with These 5 Tips The beating heat of the sun can negatively impact your workouts. High temperatures can easily inhibit performance, dehydrate your body and can make you feel drained and exhausted. So, here are 5 tips to stay cool all summer long: 1.Stay hydrated The best way to counter heat is by keeping your body temperature normal which you can doby keeping yourself hydrated. Drinking more water will make it easier for your body to maintain the blood volume, necessary to cool the body temperature. A shower before and after a workout can do wonders as well; a cold bath can cool your body down with ease. 2.Wear the right gym clothing Another thing that is often ignored is the workout attire; try wearing clothes specifically designed for training purposes. A polyester-cotton blend fabric will help control the sweat which can cause discomfort during the exercise. 3.Workout indoors The best way to protect yourself from the summer heat during workouts is to avoid it. When temperatures increase drastically it is better to workout in an indoor gym. The gym should be properly ventilated or else the lack of fresh air will make you feel fatigued in no time.
