9. Why is the story about the rabbits important? What does it symbolize? • Lennie can’t always remember the dream or why George and Lennie are working, but he remembers the rabbits. • The rabbits symbolize Lennie’s version of the dream.
10. Where are Lennie and George supposed to meet if either gets in trouble? • They are supposed to meet in the brush where they spent the night.
