  1. A Note from Our Principle Mrs. Magnusson Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I wish you many blessings in the New Year ahead. We are very busy with exams and registration for 2013. We had our first open house and were able to give out applications. Our registration date February 6, 2013 from 9 to 11 in the gym. We had our annual asbestos inspection and are in full compliance with H.E.R.A. We will be celebrating Catholic School’s Week from January 27th to February 1st. This year’s theme is Catholic Schools Raise the Standards. Each class will be doing something special to commemorate this week. 2. January 2013 Newsletter A Message From Our President Special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Dángelo for providing us with the train show. Hopefully they will join us again next year! We started off 2013 with a new event at BSS, BINGO! This event brought together a wonderful mix of moms, grandmothers, teachers, parish house staff and parishioners of all ages. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and the night was a lot of fun! Thanks to all who attended! I would like to thank Anne Divers and Lori Mohlenhoff for planning and running the event. Helene Maiello was a wonderful and entertaining caller! Janine Higgins for spinning the cage and Tracy Sanginari manned the snack stand. We hope to offer another Bingo Night in the near future, so keep your markers handy! I thank all of you for your continued support of our children and our school. None of these events could happen without your help. Please continue to be involved in whatever capacity you can. • I would like to wish everyone a very happy, healthy and blessed New Year! We are planning some very exciting events for the new year and I hope you will all enjoy them. We ended 2012 with a very successful event, Breakfast With Santa, The Toy Train Show and our Vendor Day. I think the Toy Train Show was a wonderful addition that our children, as well as our adults, enjoyed. I would like to thank the committee who planned and ran this event: Anne Divers, Lori Mohlenhoff, Helene Maiello, Janine Higgins, Maria Cassidy, Shannon Lugero, and Judy Trimarchi. I would also like to thank Anthony Camporeale, our Santa, as well as Rich Gainer and Elaina Singh for their help during this event.
