INTRODUCINGCRL • CRL was formed in 2001 as a commercial tipping and recycling facility • To enable CRL to recycle more the organisation began in 2005 offering waste collection services in Dorset • Continued investment means CRL can now offer a complete range of waste collection, disposal and recycling services across Dorset, Somerset and West Hampshire • Principal Recycling and Recovery Services: • Trade Waste Services • Construction and Demolition Waste Management • Tipping and Recycling • Specialist Waste Management

  3. WHY COMMERCIAL RECYCLING • Local specialist waste recycling centres • Ability to cope with seasonal demands • All services focused on waste recovery and recycling • Fully compliant with appropriate legislation • Regulated by the Environment Agency & other key bodies • Local account management

FACTS & FIGURES • 2,167 tonnes diverted from landfill through NES (Jul – Dec 2012) • Approx. 25,000 Containers serviced per month • Servicing approx. 1000 customers per month • Recycling over 80% of all waste received • Processing over 235,000 tonnes of waste per year • Producing and supplying over 50,000 tonnes of recycled aggregates

  7. C&DSERVICES • Dedicated C&D services: • Site waste management consultancy & plans • Provision of Skips, Rollonoffs & Grab bags • Site clearance, Muckaway & Grab lorries • Sales & supply of primary & recycled aggregates

  8. C&ISERVICES • Dedicated C&I / Trade waste services: • Waste management consultancy & audits • Wheelie bins, REL’s, Rollonoffs, Refuse sacks • Collection of all major waste streams • Management of difficult, hazardous and WEEE waste

CASE STUDY SPECTRUM PROPERTY CARE • Overview: • Provision of waste collection at all depots • Planning and implementation of mini recycling centres • Hazardous waste management for the group • Provision of recycling and tipping facilities with Commercial Recycling and its partner sites • Management service for out of area waste requirements • Continued consultancy support and awareness activities

ZERO WASTE TO LANDFILL • Overview: • Bespoke MBT & RDF technologies, which allow Commercial Recycling to provide a Zero Waste to Landfill solution. • Currently we provide this option to clients with compactors (Skips and RoRo compactors) in the Dorset and West Hants area. • In addition all general waste collected by our Canford RCV fleet also goes to NES

HELP & RESOURCES • Assistance and support: • Free waste audits and advice • Awareness leaflets, signage and information for customers and their staff • Local account managers who can provide presentations and extra support • Creation and circulation of recycling data and waste management reports
