  3. On the Way • Married Valentine Chatenay • Had 3 children • Jacqueline • Lucienne • Laurent • He researched in developmental psychology and genetic epistemology.

  4. His Goal • “Growth of knowledge is a progressive construction of logically embedded structure superseding one another by process of inclusion of lower less powerful logical means into higher and more powerful ones up to adulthood”.

  5. To the Grave • Died September 6, 1980 • Was the only Swiss to be invited at the Sorbonne from 1952- 1963 • Won numerous prizes and honorary degrees from all over the world • Dies in Geneva • The cause of death was unspecified
