This project introduces a UAV ground station that collects and displays in-flight telemetry data, enabling users to control aircraft via computer inputs such as joysticks or keyboards. The system displays pseudo-real-time imagery for navigation and serves as a foundational building block for future automation. Leveraging ArduPilot, the scope expands to include seeded fault detection, utilizing simple sensors to identify real-world risks associated with combat and surveillance aircraft. The timeline will be managed using Gantter®, detailing necessary architecture, specifications, and required technologies.

Ardupilot Capabilities • Includes 3-axis gyro, accelerometer, magnetometer, barometer. • Optional off-board 5Hz GPS (included in price) • 4Mb datalogging memory • Up to 8 I/O channels • Open source, coded in C. • Allows manual flight or mission scripting. Waypoints can be defined for automatic flight or the plane can loiter around a "home" point.
