(2006) [AFTOL 633] and Ward and Adams (1998) [Y12830], based on the sequence of the ITS1-5.8S-ITS2 region. The sequence of Rhizopus oryzae(GQ220706) was used as an out-group and bootstrap values greater than 95% (based on 1000 iterations) are shown adjacent to the appropriate branch points. Five distinct groups are indicated, with isolates from this study represented in four of the five (groups 2, 3, 4 and 5). The host plant species from which the isolates were obtained is shown next to the isolate designation.
