Understanding Human Population and Civilization Through History

This educational activity explores the timeline of human existence on Earth, encouraging students to hypothesize how long humans have lived here. Key concepts include chronological order, absolute and relative location, and the development of civilization and agriculture. Students will engage in hands-on activities, like ordering historical dates from various epochs (BC and AD) and creating maps to represent their birthplace, including both approximate and exact locations (longitude and latitude). This lesson aims to deepen understanding of how humans have populated and influenced Earth over time.
