  2. 1910 Economics • The 1910’s was a place of little spending and little unemployment. The Federal spending in 1910 was 0.69 billion. The unemployment percentage was 5.9. The traveling cost in 1910 wasn’t very expensive. In fact, it was only 2 cents for a first class stamp.

  3. 1910 Politics • During 1910 there were actually 2 presidents during that decade in the U.S. William Howard Taft (1909-1913) and Woodrow Wilson (1913 1921) both were presidents during the 1910 decade. The 1910’s was also known as a decade of The High Tide of Progressivism. The high tide of the Progressive Era occurred during the 1910s, as the property of being extremely present in great quantity of interest groups with competing legislative proposals made the decade one of the most turbulent and exciting in U.S. history. Life was truly excitinginthe1910’s. You can see a new idea made by the legislation most of the time. They progress, I wonder if that’s how the Roaring Twenties came by?

  4. 1910 to 1920 Society & Culture • In the 1910 decade, there was progressivism. The 1920 decade was a decade of great success. The Roaring 20’s was said to be one of the greatest decades ever in U.S. history. There was great change in the U.S. during the 20’s. Henry Ford creating the improved version of the assembly line. And he created the first ever car. Women have driven planes. In conclusion, the roaring 20’s was a great place of change for the better.

  5. 1910- 1920 enviroment • The 1920’s was a decade of disease care. For example, the First National Conference on Industrial Diseases was held in Chicago. It was also a decade of safety and poisons. For example, the US Bureau of Labor issues a list of industrial poisons. For safety, the U.S. Bureau of Mines is created in part to improve mine safety. Back then, safety was a law.

  6. Overview of 1910-1920 • The 2 decades are connected. What I mean by that is the 2 decades follow the other. 1910 is a place of progressivism. The 1920’s was a place of change for the better. The roaring twenties included quicker assembly lines, cars, and women rights. 1910 is the reason why the roaring twenties happened.

  7. 1920 Political Cartoon In this political cartoon, someone is asking who will be our future president. The donkey and the horse represent the democrats and the republicans. The papers below the elephant represent the presidents. Like Johnson, Wilson, Hoover, and many others that were during that time.

  8. Toondo Roosevelt cartoon • This cartoon is a little joke representing Roosevelt. But Roosevelt does have something to do with this cartoon. Before, just as he started being president, Roosevelt was a great man. But he changed after he was used to the presidential power. He changed for the worse.
