  2. The Hydra The Hydra was a serpent with multiple heads that would guard a gate to Tartarus making sure that no one who was not meant to be there would enter. Hydragate is a fencing service company that installs remote controlled gates. - They probably chose the name of HydraGate because the Hydra was a fierce creature that guarded the gate to Tartarus so they wanted to put forth an idea of them being the best gate company there is.

  3. Nike Nike was the goddess of victory, she was known to be able to run and fly at very high speeds. Nike is a very big shoe/clothing/accessories/ sports equipment/ franchise company. Nike probably chose this name because they wanted every one to want a company with a name referring to a goddess who was fast and successful.

  4. Odyssey The Odyssey was the term to describe the rough and dreadful 10 year voyage that Odysseus made at sea. The Odyssey is a popular mini van by the car company Honda. - Honda most likely chose Odyssey as the name for their car because it is a term related to a long and challenging trip or journey which their car can allegedly stand up to.

  5. Prometheus The Prometheus Company is a large firm that provides 21st century assistance with a wide range of services including: management, logistics, technology, assurance, and strategic services. - This company probably uses the name Prometheus as their company name because Prometheus was the wisest of the Titans therefore putting forward the intelligent appearance. Prometheus was the wisest of all the Titans. His name in Greek meant “forethought.” He is claimed to be the one who gave fire to man after their creation.

  6. Aphrodite Aphrodite was the Greek goddess of Beauty and lust. She was said to be the most beautiful of the goddesses. One of her symbols was the dove. Dove is a popular company that sells beauty products. - Dove probably chose this name because they wanted to promote an idea of a product that would make you more beautiful.
