Delayed Release of PAS V3 and AN-10-112 V5: Key Updates and Plot Issues

The release of PAS V3 and AN-10-112 V5 has been delayed until today or tomorrow. A preliminary version of AN-10-112 V5 has been posted in the agenda. A complete set of plots has just been delivered, with only Fig. 4 for the 3 GeV threshold missing—though tables are available. Several issues remain to be addressed, including checks on Fig. 3" and Fig. 3'a & 3'b for systematic and statistical errors. Additionally, Fig. 5" has a wrong label and shows suspicious similarities in the 900 GeV data. Ongoing work is focused on resolving these major problems and understanding track selection systematics.

  1. QCD-10-010 • Release of PAS V3 and AN-10-112 V5 delayed (Today or Tomorrow) • Preliminary version of AN-10-112 V5 posted in the agenda • Full bunch of plots just delivered • Missing only Fig 4 for 3 GeV threshold but tables available • Still few fixes to make to the new plots • Fig 3’’ 900 GeV (check D6T curve) • Fig 3’a and 3’b (check syst and stat errors) • Fig 5’’ 7 TeV wrong label (this is just 7 TeV data) • Fig 5’’ 900 GeV suspicious similar structure DW vs CW. No stat errors? • Major problem. (Working on it!) • Systematics of track selection not understood. • Big effect on profiles, no effect on distributions?
