  2. Decoration / Food • Voting • Budget is about $250 for decoration • DJ has his own lights • 65 people = bare minimum for $1K; we actually need ~80 to net $1500, which will keep us on a good track • So advertise.

  3. Food (Catering) • Prathm. • General things • Soda / soft drinks / water x15 • Desserts • Ethnic foods

  4. Balloons • Shape • Regular round • Star shaped, etc? • Colors • Black and Gold only? • Red, silver, etc? • Opaque?

  5. Balloons • 5 to a table or 6? ^Configurations we would use^ Vs.

  7. Balloons • Helium tanks x2 • Shubham • There should be enough time to fill / tie balloons day of Semi, after school • Who would be willing to stay after to help set up Semi?

  9. Tablecloth • Tables are 70” diameter • 14 tables total • Tablecloths should be ~94 inches (hang off by 1 ft) • Need 14 red and 14 black

  10. Awards • 4 nominees chosen by council, 1st / 2nd then chosen by clapping / noise? • Best dancer (male); 4 nom, 1st / 2nd • Best dancer (female); 4 nom, 1st / 2nd • Best dressed (male); 4 nom, 1st / 2nd • Best dressed (female); 4 nom, 1st / 2nd • Is this okay / any ideas / modifications?

Awards • Best couple (different procedure) • Like last year, all couples (including guys?) walk around room continuously, council narrows down to 2 per grade (8 couples left total. 1st / 2nd / 3rd / 4th chosen through clapping, 4 losers • Will there be too many couples to start with? • How do we do this, then?

  12. Awards • 2 winners per gender per category = 2 male dancer, 2 male dressed, 2 female dancer, 2 female dressed + 4 best couple => 12 awards total

  13. Awards • Looks like this  • Others looked messed up / scary :p • We can modify them (paste on category and 1st / 2nd / whatever place) • Artsy people • ?

  14. Red Carpet • ? • Velvet ropes / poles are really too expensive. • $100 for one rope + 2 poles • D:

  15. Table Centerpiece • Thanks Danielle • Looks nice, could be balloon weight too, but we have to make them ourselves (time, purchase parts) • Decoration will decide • But everyone thinks it’s nice?

  19. Hershey Kisses / Cups • Red (V-Day?) and Gold (almond) Hershey kisses scattered on table / in cups (good for garbage cans too) • Mr. Price or…? • Random white pearls in cups / pearl necklaces on table (esp in case centerpieces don’t work out)

  21. More Table Decorations • Clapboards, random other cheap stuff (camera reel) • Should we do cheap clapboard keychains? • Or large, one-per-table ones? • Ideas for knick-knacks?

Subway Lunch Details • Those of you who volunteered to bring in stuff, remember (Date -> 20th )! • Basically buying $5 footlongs, cutting each in half, sell halves for $5 each, make ~2.50 profit per unit sold • Veggie / ham / turkey • Selling Subway during lunches along withSemiFormal tickets
