The recent decisions affecting Balmoral's future highlights the importance of community consultation when shaping educational plans. The previous Board of Education made pivotal choices without involving the incoming board or community feedback, leading to declines in enrollment and funding concerns. As we face a projected 6% drop in students, we urge the new Board to prioritize transparency and collaboration to revitalize Balmoral. Together, we can ensure that our schools flourish and serve our community effectively, setting a new standard for stakeholder engagement.
