Important Upcoming Dates: Late Work, Senior Pictures, and Class Activities

Attention students! This is a reminder that the last day to submit any late work for this week is Friday, November 8. Please review the Grading Rubric/Checklist for your rough drafts before submission. Mini-conferences to discuss your rough drafts will take place during the next class period. Senior pictures are coming up on November 11-12, and you'll receive a photo card with your info. You may also upgrade your photo session with cap and gown for $12. Makeup day is on November 15. Today, we will journal, present, and read "The Pardoner’s Tale."

  1. Important Info: • Last day to turn in any late work for this weeks: Fri, Nov 8 • Make sure you look at Grading Rubric/Checklist for rough draft before turning it in!!! • Mini-conferences to discuss rough draft: next class period.

Senior Pictures: • Mon-Tues, Nov 11-12 • You will be a given photo card with your info before going ; this is how proofs will be mailed to you • You can upgrade your photo session with cap and gown for $12.00 • If you already took photo, you don’t need to take another one • Makeup day: Fri, Nov 15

  3. 11-5-13 Objectives: • To make inferences and draw conclusions about characters from The prologue in Canterbury Tales. • To understand, make inferences, and draw conclusions about the three rioters in “The Pardoner’s Tale”

  4. Today’s Agenda: • Journal • Presentations from last class period • Read “The Pardoner’s Tale”
