Ingredients double • 1cup milk • 2 T sugar • 1/2 t vanilla • 2 T caramel or chocolate • ½ cup milk • 1 T sugar • ¼ t vanilla • 1 T caramel or chocolate Additional • 1 ½ cups ice • 1/3 C rock salt • 1 quart size baggie • 1 gallon size baggie • 1 towel • 1 drinking cup • 3 Cups ice • 2/3 Cups rock salt • How many cups in a quart 4 • How many cups in a gallon 16

  4. Directions • Go to the supply counter and get 1 quart size baggie. • Pour milk, sugar, vanilla, and extra ingredients into the quart size baggie. Squeeze excess air out of the bag and zip it closed. • Get 1 gallon size baggie. Place the quart size bag into the gallon size baggie and add 3 cups of ice and 2/3 C. rock salt. Zip the bag shut. • Wrap it in a towel, take it outside and shake for 10 min. Remove small bag. • Put wet towel in the washing machine. Empty large bag into the sink and throw it away. • Rinse small bag really, really, really well in cold water. • Empty ice cream into a bowl. Enjoy!

  6. When you are done • Wash the dishes you used • Wash counters. When the salt dries it will leave a white film on your counter so they will need to be washed again. • Wash tables • Sweep floor, brooms are next to the fridge • Wash the counters again. • Put dirty aprons, towels, and rags in the dirty laundry basket next to the washing machine. • Put your math worksheet in your folder. Put away your folder and sit quietly at your table • Stack chairs when it’s time  Thanks!!

The way it’s supposed to be • Ingredients: • 1 cup milk • 2 T sugar • ½ t vanilla • 2 T extra ingredient (caramel, chocolate) • Rock salt • Ice • Pour milk, sugar, vanilla, and extra ingredients into a quart size zip loc baggie. Squeeze excess air out of the bag and zip it closed. Place the quart size bag into a gallon size baggie and add 3 cups of ice and 2/3 C. rock salt. Zip the bag shut. Shake for 10 min. Remove small bag. Empty large bag into the sink and throw it away. Rinse small bag really, really, really well in cold water. Dry with a towel. Empty ice cream into a bowl or eat out of the bag. Enjoy!
