Spokane Tribal Hatchery receives annual allotment of 1 Million Triploid eggs from WDFW Spokane Hatchery in February. 300,000 adipose clipped fish (50/lb) are transferred to Sherman Creek Hatchery in June/July. Transferred to Kettle Falls, Colville River, and Hunters net pens in October (15/lb). 750K Net pen release end of May (5/lb) All fish reared at Spokane Tribal Hatchery until June/July (50 /lb). Hatchery Rainbow Trout Flow Chart Spokane Tribal Hatchery retains 450,000 for additional hatchery rearing and adipose fin clipping June - Oct. Transferred to Hall Creek, Two Rivers, Seven Bays, Lincoln, and Keller Ferry net pens in October (15/lb). Upper Columbia/Kettle River production suspended pending redband genetic study Hatchery Rainbow Trout Production Flow Chart

  8. Specific Release Strategies 1: Rear for release 750,000 triploid rainbow trout. 2:Release rainbow trout at between 5 and 7 fish per pound. 3: Hold releases post drawdown elevation above 1,260’ and water retention over 45 days.
