  2. “Questions without resolutions will foster a generation of non-achievers.” [Sc] • The US is the world’s largest incarcerator and Louisiana leads the US in incarceration. • Ironically, Louisiana also leads the nation in murders, with two cities counted among the most dangerous in the country.

  3. We are all born into the world by natural birth, but our personality and who we are as individuals is shaped by our environment and culture. • Being born does not mean you automatically understand who you are. • Understanding who you are is by defining the characteristics and values you chose to live by.

  4. Personality expresses personal make up that exemplifies ones temperament and attitude. • Your personality is shaped by whoever raised and mentored you, as well as your environment and culture. • Outside impressions like drug addiction, alcoholism, and incarceration are negative influences that could very well bring impression and ultimately make a person take upon the same behavior. • However, a dysfunctional environment does not have to become a person’s destruction!! These negative impressions must be “destroyed” by a new impression that is positive and reachable….

  5. Overall Guiding Principles I know who I am Shaun Cooper, I have self respect and a great outlook on myself and life. I know the potential I possess My talent, gift, and skills. I know where I am going Places of success, high school, College, Business, Military. I know how to get there By education, Inspiration, and Dedication.

  6. Greatness Exercises • I will be “successful” - Because my dedication will result achievement. • I will be “educated” - Because education is the road map to prosperity. • I will be “motivated” - Aim high and dream big because nothing is impossible. • I will engage in “hard work” - greatness cannot materialize by being a slacker. • I will stay “committed” - by practicing consistency & staying true to purpose. • I will be “humble” - Serve my family, community, and God.

I KNOW WHO I AM • I “reverence God” I am a giver and not a taker. ______________________________________________________________________________________ • I am a “thinker” - I think the impossible is possible. ______________________________________________________________________________________ • I am “character”- honesty, integrity, and morality. ______________________________________________________________________________________

  8. Home Work If you had unlimited resources, unlimited money, unlimited influence, what 3 things would you do to change the world. Write a 1 pg report for a prize.

Seven(7) Wills of Greatness • We will teach students to become “student leaders” that are motivated and inspired to obtain their future goals and make a lifelong contribution to the world. • We will model greatness, recognize greatness, exercise greatness and use greatness with the intent to change the world! • We will WAKE UP THEIR “DREAM MACHINE” and teach them how to possess a great capacity for leadership. • We will teach the students to think outside the box. • We Will reinforce students ability to move beyond their present struggles. • We Will challenge students to find their place in history 7. We will teach our “student leaders” to discover their God-given talent and gifting.
