  3. Healthy Start Update FY 2004 Competitions • Eliminating Disparities in Perinatal Health: General Population • Eliminating Disparities in Perinatal Health: Border Health Alaska Hawaii and the US-Mexican Border States • Anticipate awarding 5-7 grants up to 1 million dollars each

Healthy Start Update FY 2005 • Eliminating Disparities in Perinatal Health: Border Health • Eliminating Disparities in Perinatal Health: General Population • Interconception and Perinatal depression Grants • 74 million dollars ( turnover funds) • Maximum size of award to projects as yet to be determined

  5. Healthy Start Update FY 2006 • Eliminating Disparities in Perinatal Health • 9.1 million dollar (turnover funds) • Number of awards to be determined
